This mixtape came out of the rise of ICE as a sort of secret police force during the first year of Trump's second term and my reflecting on the fact that we white Americans didn't have a lot of experience with this sort of thing, but our Black countrypeople certainly did. All of these songs are different perspectives on the police and what it's like to interact with them from various perspectives.
