I broke one of the cardinal rules of mixtape making in this mixtape: only one song per artist. I just wanted Big Freedia's boistrious energy to carry the listener all the way through. Plus, a couple of our friends had just had a baby named Freida and she was a BIG BABY and I thought she was awesome (she still is)! I was also particularly proud of myself for sneaking Aretha Franklin in with Lizzo and Megan Thee Stallion without feeling too out of place.
